Guide Introduction
Charles Haanels The Master Key published in 1912 - was reputed to be the inspiration behind Bill Gates decision to leave college to begin his entrepreneurial adventures. It inspired Napoleon Hill to write Think And Grow Rich. And its ideas most recently were expressed in the movie The Secret. While The Master Key found readership initially within the business world, and more recently among members of various New Age communities, its insights resonate clearly with the worlds great Wisdom Traditions - Taoism included. What it proposes is that we quiet our mind through meditation practice, and within this potent and energetic space of mental calmness, plant visual images of what we wish to create; that we attune ourselves to the rhythms of Natural Law; and that we invite Source-Energy to flow through us providing the fuel to manifest our reality in the way that is most pleasing to us.
The text is divided into a series of twenty-four lessons, which are intended to be studied and practiced sequentially. If you spend a week with each lesson, the entire course will take about six months to complete. Each lesson includes an introductory section, the main body of the lesson (a series of numbered aphorisms), and concludes with a question & answer study guide.
Each of the files linked to below contains approximately two lessons. In Part 1 for instance you will find lessons one and two; in part 2, lessons three and four; in Part 3, lessons five and six, and so on. Because the chapters vary in length, there is variation also in where exactly within the following files - you will find their beginnings. My suggestion, for those who are serious about working through the entire course, is to print out the entire document all twelve parts so that you will then have a hard copy to work with. Enjoy!
