Definition:
Amrita is a Sanskrit term frequently rendered in English as “fluid of Immortality.” In Taoist parlance, it’s sometimes also called “Heavenly nectar.” In the practice of Inner Alchemy, when jing is drawn from the lower dantian upward to the brain/upper dantian (aka the "Crystal Palace" or "Cave of Brahma"), amrita is the special “fluid” that is then released and descends from the crown chakra, filling the entire body with (physical and psychological) bliss.
