Music

Music is an important part of Taoist ceremony - a means of communicating with the Deities - and can be incorporated also into individual Taoist practice: remember the hero of David Carradine's "Kung Fu" taking solace in the playing of his flute? The Guqin (Chinese zither) and the Xiao (vertical bamboo flute) are two instruments frequently used in the creation of Taoist musical compositions.
