Good Stuff

Ok -- here's my semiannual plug for what I feel are some truly excellent external supports for practice. So check it out, and perhaps then treat yourself or surprise your Taoist friends with a holiday (birthday, Happy Wednesday or whatever) gift of ...

Supplements

Tonic Gold. Great support for our energy-body, which ripples out/down/around to positively affect all levels of our being. Yes!

Gold-Ash-Powder. Created in Myanmar by Sayagyi U Shein. For a video description of Mr. U Shein's process, go to the 48:15 minute mark of "Voyage Into The Next Dimension." Very cool.

Note: Remedies like those above are based on principles quite different from Chinese herbal medicine - which tailors formulas unique to specific circumstances.

Books

These Taoist & related books, which include Wei Wu Wei's All Else Is Bondage and Eric Yudelove's Taoist Yoga & Sexual Energy, are longtime favorites, inspiring in countless ways.

Remember: Laozi's first words of the Daode Jing: "The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao ..."

Science Meets Spirit

Holosync. When I first wrote about Holosync, I had just sent off for the introductory CD. Since that time, I've been playing with this technology, and must say that I'm quite impressed by its power to support deep meditation.

Q-Link. While Holosync works by entraining brain-waves, the Q-Link interacts directly with our entire biofield. I haven't tried one of these yet, but have heard great things about them - and the technology is fascinating. They're supposedly very good at countering the effects of the various EMF's that we're increasingly exposed to.

And consider ... no machine (that I've yet found) can replace face-to-face interaction with a living Teacher.

Happy Wednesday!
