Falun Gong Update

With the Beijing Olympics just two weeks away, the Chinese suppression of Falun Gong continues. Here's an excellent overview of the situation. One piece that I hadn't been aware of was that - in clear violation of the Olympic Charter - Falun Gong practitioners from both inside and outside China are officially excluded from participation, as athletes, coaches, journalists or spectators. Yikes.

Any questioning, by foreign journalists, around the Falun Gong situation, constitutes what the Chinese government is calling "illegal news coverage."
